AP Chemistry
AP Chemistry is an introductory college-level chemistry course. Students cultivate their understanding of chemistry through inquiry-based investigations as they explore topics like atomic and molecular structure, chemical reactions, kinetics, equilibrium, and thermodynamics.
The topics covered in this course are:
AP Chemistry
Atomic Structure and Properties
Molecular and Ionic Compound Structure and Properties
Intermolecular Forces and Properties
Chemical Reactions
Kinetics
Thermodynamics
Equilibrium
Acids and Bases
Applications of Thermodynamics
*AP courses, or Advanced Placement courses, are designed and created by the College Board to allow students to experience college-level academics while still in high school and earn college credit and placement.
